Wed May 02, 2007 03:43 PM Has any NYU LLM student received already from the Office of Graduate Affairs a PDF attachment of registration instructions and details? The admitted students web page stated that we will receive this information prior to early May. Thank you!! |

Does anybody know how difficult is to be admitted in Dowrkin´s course? How many student does he accept? Is it just for graduate students? I was really motivated to this course, but some people said me that it is really hard to be admitted. Is it true?

Me neither,Wed May 09, 2007 10:27 AM But, I received mail from graduate affairs to the effect that the PDF email with reg instructions will be sent by May 15, the day when there will be an on-line chat with NYU faculty. Did any one else receive this communcation? |

I received that email as well. Wed May 09, 2007 06:15 PM Does anyone know what a colloquium course entails? What grades are based on, etc. Several are listed on the schedule and they sound quite interesting. Thanks. |

I received an e-mail with PDF guide the day before yesterday too.Sun May 13, 2007 07:25 AM It seems lottery system is a little bit complicated one. I wish somebody show us more simple and easy way for regisration. I believe if I try to register on the day Albert system begin to work, the regisration process will become more practically understandable. |

This whole computer registration scene with no guarntee of what courses I will land up studying is making me uneasy as well. If any of you guys do figure out how to register please do let me know.

I tried with Albert but it is so complicated and I do not know what information is required. I tried to enter the course number but could not. In addition, there are so many different boxes to fill in such a "writing, hours, course ID, co req course ID".... etc etc etc. Also, alot of the courses I want to choose for the corporate program start with 3043 (such as M & A), but they wrote in the Albert Help forum that the call numbers for law school are only from 20000 to 21999. This is so frustrating! I will be eternally grateful if anyone could explain to me how to correctly register. I have already written down all the classes I want to enrol in, all that's left is to actually register in Albert. Thanks!!!!

Oh, looks like there is a big problem regarding regisration process for everyone.Mon May 14, 2007 10:06 AM I will try to register on Albert(I think it is difficult to do registeration soon), then let`s share information!! If someone sucessfully registered online, please tell us how to fill in the worksheet and register on the computer. I feel it is more difficult to understand the PDF guide than American law textbook! |

Thanks!!!! you should enter the Lottery call number of the courses, which can be found in the schedule of class, instead of the course number. |

Just finished the whole process and its not that complicated as appears. Mon May 14, 2007 07:26 PM Put it in a simple way, the only things you need to fill in the selections worksheet are the call numbers which can be located through: its.law.nyu.edu/cms/public/schedules/index.cfm?fus… Do make sure to take all necessary considerations into your selections and good luck with the course shopping! P.S. the class 08 facebook group seems doesnt exist |
