HI EVERYBODY,

HAS ANYONE YET HEARD FROM NYU AFTER BEING WAITLISTED?ALSO, DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA AS TO HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE USUALLY WAITLISTED BY NYU FOR THE LL.M. PROGRAM...IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY CLUE PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW....COZ THIS WAIT IS KILLING!!

I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY..AND THEY SAID THAT IT COULD BE MID-JUNE UNTIL THEY NOTIFY US..SO IT DOES MEAN THAT ITS GOING TO TAKE VERY LONG INDEED..ITS GOING TO COMPLICATE THINGS QUITE A BIT, LIKE TAKING UP OTHER OFFERS ETC..WHAT ABOUT U?ARE YOU CONTEMPLATING ATTENDING ANOTHER SCHOOL?

Hi,

Are you a domestic or foreign applicant? In your wait list offer letter dated 20th March what is the deadline mentioned w.r.t communication of final decision? Mine says final decision would be made not before the end of May. So, I guess we might get a by May end. Is it the same for you?

IM A FOREIGN APPLICANT..MY LETTER ALSO SAID NOTIFICATION BY THE END OF MAY...BUT IT DOES'NT SEEM TO BE WORKING THAT WAY..ITS REALLY FRUSTRATING!WHAT ABOUT YOU?WHERE ARE YOU FROM?WOULD YOU BE ATTENDING ANOTHER SCHOOL?

Hi, I am on waiting list and I have not heard from NYU yet.
However, I found out I could log in the admitted student site using my social security number yesterday.
Why don't you try?
You can find the site by google.
(I can't assure that site is true NYU official site, though.)

To who once on waiting list and admitted>
How did you hear from NYU?
When is the deadline for deposit?

I found out the admitted student site by going down from NYU official site.

its.law.nyu.edu/admitted/login/login.cfm?dest=/adm…

I was almost giving up but I got in.
Some of my friends made withdrawal from NYU, so there is chance still now.

I tried logging into that NYU site page link you mentioned..but it only seems to be for the admitted students..i could'nt log in..maybe you could because you've made it!!Thanks anyway..

FYI, the deadline for deposit is June 6.

Im so happy for you..congratulations!!Thank God that atleast someone on the wait list has finally made it!!So, what do you intend doing now?6th June is very little time to decide..isnt it?Btw, do you have to choose between NYU and some other school or have you made up your mind on NYU itself?Do keep writing..take care!!

By the way, just called the Admissions and they told me - that all of the decisions will be made by the end of the month.
when I said, come on, it's tommorow, the voice remained firm:)
wasn't there a person, who was told about mid-June?

Yes, I am hoping very much to make it to NYU..It might be a better choice than the the school that im currently thinking of attending..and btw, it was me who called the NYU office and was informed that the deadline for mailing out decisions on the waitlisted students is mid-June..guess they intend doing umpteen rounds of offers..

Hi everybody,

Has anyone here who shares the killing NYU wait tried to log into the NYU site for admitted students using the useful link posted here by Yumex? Well, I have and guess have understood how this works..NYU updates this site once a student has made it..and so he/she is able to log in with the applicant i.d. number..Yumex said he was able to log in and soon after that he came back saying he had made it!! So this means that while your offer letter is on its way..you just might be lucky to spot your name on the said page!! I hope this information helps anyone who eagerly awaits a decison!! So, pals why dont you go ahead and try your luck..!!
