Not an expert here but international LLM students from even the top 10 universities seem to have trouble finding jobs, my guess is that from a university ranked 100 it will be even more difficult.Tue May 29, 2007 07:19 PM Also it has been spoken about how JDs seem to have easier time finding jobs than LLMs, a JD from a school ranked 100 would still have trouble finding a job at least at a big firm unless they did especially well. Not saying it is impossible but definitely a challenge. On another note, you've posted numerous messages asking the same question over and over again. This just serves to clutter up the board. Be patient, people here are helpful and if they have answers they will surely post them. |

well i guess then i would have to trust my stars and luck? i have read so much on LLM V/s JD that i thing LLM students are sailing in a boat which has hole drilled in. very stringent and slim prsopectives.

i believe that in your case a course on spelling and grammar might not hurt. i have read most of your comments now, but they are simply replete with errors. i cannot help but think that you are just posting jokes.

You have to look at the law school's reputation in the area where you want to work. USF law school is very well-known in the San Francisco Bay Area and California generally as a top school that graduates solid practicing lawyers. It has more alumni sitting as judges than any other school in the Bay Area. Another question is whether you plan to go back to your home country after the LLM. If you do, the degree will be a big help in getting a job with a firm that handles international business. USF is quite well-known in Asia.
