accomodation- LSE
hey guys, i've been offered accomodation at rosebery hall... but i have not yet received mail from them for payment of deposit..... can anyone who has been offered accomodation there tell me if u have paid up the deposit..

Hy,Fri Jun 08, 2007 11:22 AM I got an accomodation at Roseberry hall too firstly I got an e-mail with a link on the LSE accomodation website - I accepted it online and I send the form by post Later, I got the e-mail with the payment and I payed online. And only after 3 days I got the e-mail with the final reservation. Where you are in this procedure ? |

The schools I applied to were: LSE, UCL, Edinburgh, KCL, QMUL, and Glasgow. As far as deciding on LSE, it was a difficult decision. As I said in the PM I tried to send (and will re-send), I have to stand behind my posts on these boards and admit that I made my decision fairly superficially. I will be practising in North America, so it was really important to take my LL.M. from a school that North American employers will recognize immediately. That is not to say that UCL is not a great school because, of course, it is one of the best. However, I don't think North American employers are as enlightened about U.K. universities as they should be (perhaps). What law school did you attend? Are you in the U.K. now? At LSE? Send me a PM. hey i accepted the offer online n they gave me an application reference no n said they would send a mail as to when to make the payment but haven't yet received the mail....

I too similarly accepted my accom offer online sometime in may (butler's wharf), still waiting for the mail telling me to make the deposit payment. I suppose the most impt thing is the accom is secured.

Hi! Tue Jun 19, 2007 08:49 AM I was offered a room at Lilian Knowles House for 2007-2008. Does anybody know whether we have to pay for the accommodation prior to University fees? |

Hi!Tue Jun 19, 2007 09:20 AM I am from Kenya. Meant to join LSE's LLM in Sep. I was offered inter-collegiate accomodation, I haven't heard from them since March. I am however unlikely to take up the place this year, mainly coz of the finances... |

I don't really know whether you can wait to pay your deposit, as I think I paid mine when I accepted the offer at the Shaftsbury website. I think the best thing to do is just contact Lilian Knowles through their website or directly by phone.
