I want to do something in CRIME AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE. but need to know which are the universities that are well known for the above mentioned field of law. if anyone out there could update me with any info. on the apropriate universities? waiting for ur replies. |

Sheffield is well known for its criminologists and the Law Dept offers an MA in International Criminology, which covers criminal justice:Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:39 PM www.shef.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/courses/law/cri… There is a Centre for Criminal Justice at Leeds, which offers a postgraduate programme:- www.law.leeds.ac.uk/LeedsLaw/GenericPage.aspx?ID=8… Edinburgh School of Law also offers a masters in criminology and criminal justice:- www.law.ed.ac.uk/pg/msccrim.aspx I suspect other schools also offer similar programmes. the one point to note is that these programmes may not all be LLMs but rather MAs, indicating perhaps a more social science approach or a broader approach to these issues than just a black letter consideration of what the law is. |

Amsterdam and Leiden in the Netherlands are also very good, espaccialy for the international criminal law program. So, if you do not want to go to the UK, or for people who can not pay for a program in the UK.
