LLM in International Law at Hull anyone?
i would begin my studies at Univ of Hull in LLM International Law, so anyone who'll go there?i heard that Hull Law school has very good reputation in International Law especially their annual lecture (JOsephine Onoh Memorial Lecture) and INternational law Institute (McCoubrey Centre for International Law)

I thought of going to Hull, too, but a friend of mine, who studied law in England (I am from Germany) said: "Hull? Something between hell and dull". So, I think the reputation is not that good. On the other side, another friend of mine studies in Hull for one right now and he said that it is a really nice University. Very friendly people and a nice campus. Therefore, I think, if you just want to have a really good time or if you simply want to improve your English skills, Hull is a good (and relatively cheap!) choice. But if reputation is very important for you, you should decide for another University.

Haha i know that someone said between hell and dull, even there is joke said that the best univ in UK is oxford, cambridge and hull! Hehe.....Sat Jun 23, 2007 04:42 AM i'm not considered for reputation, as long as there have the course that i want, it's alright...i know Hull is very cheap place to live yea....i also got offer from some univ like kent, liverpool, and also condition offer from QML and Nottingham but i think in terms of studying it's better to choose Hull because his standing reputation on international law esp on maritime law, as i knew...and of course the living cost is quite cheap..that's what i'm considering about. |
