I have recently found out I am not eligible for the New York Bar Exam as I only have a CPE (Common Professional Exam) and not an LLB. Does anybody now the eligibility requirements for Canada or where I can find out?

Since you referred to New York, I will make the assumption that you would be interested in Ontario. Please find below a link (from Law Society of Upper Canada) which states the requirements for Ontario licensing:

Of course, you may find additional or more accurate information on the LSUC website, but this should give you a start.
