Notre Dame Law School's London Branch
hiThu Jul 26, 2007 08:09 PM Notre Dame Law school has a branch in London that also conducts the LL.M. programme. law.nd.edu/london/llm/index.html I was wondering has any non-American student joined Notre Dame's LL.M programme in the London Branch? What are the strengths and weaknesses of Notre Dame's Law School's London Branch? What are the electives popular in London branch? What is the feedback of the teaching staff in this branch? For UK and EU citizens, would it help sitting for the Bar exam in USA if they did LL.M from Notre Dame London branch? [Edited 26 Jul 2007 by Craig] |

I wouldn't know what are strengths or weaknesses of the Notre Dame's London program, but I do know you can not sit for the New York Bar Exam. According to Section 520.6 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals for the Admission of Attorneys, the LLM program must be "in the United States". It doesn't matter the school that is awarding the degree is an ABA school.
