advice needed - career change

Hi, i'm desperately in need of some advise....
I'mabout to graduate from my degree in public communications and international studies but am interested in a career in commercial/corporate law.
My questions are:
1) After 5 year of undergrad study, i'd like to do an LLM, however it seems that only UTS accepts applicants with non-legal undergrad. degrees. If so, is it better to get an LLM at UTS or a BA from a more recognised uni?
2) I would eventually like to work overseas (i speak french and chinese), what are the career prospects and how flexible would an LLM be for graduates wanting to work in say China?

As far as I know, an LLM is not going to let you practice as a lawyer - it is a postgraduate academic qualification only. If you want to qualify as a lawyer, you will need to complete an LLB, graduate LLB, or JD (eg at Melbourne if it is on offer at present) in order to satisfy the admission requirements to practice as a solicitor (and barrister depending on which state). An LLM is mainly for people who want to become an academic or who are already qualified as a lawyer and want to gain in-depth knowledge in a particular area or areas.
