LLMs in Intellectual Property
Hello everybody, I am looking for LLMs in Intellectual Property Law in Europe, taught in english or in spanish. For the moment, I have found some programs in the UK (U. Edimburgh, U. Aberdeen, U. Nottingham Trent and U. of Glamorgan). I also have seen there is an LLM progam in Spain (Univerity of Alicante).I wish you could tell me if there exist others programs, your opinion on the ones I have mentioned. and your personal experience if you are in the same search as me or if you have attended one program. I would prefers LLMs programs taught in english rather than spanish.Thank you for your help>

Hello, Mon Sep 24, 2007 07:30 PM Reply to Lunianil. I meant : no tution fee but Sweden does not have a campus accomodation system as certain other countries do. As in many other university cities, the housing situation in Stockholm is very strained. It is extremely difficult to get cheap student room, particulary in the beginning of the semester. |

LLMs in Intellectual Property
Hi everybody!!!Fri Aug 07, 2009 09:36 AM For those who are asking information of the Master in the Alicante University, I'm alumni of the last edition, the one finished in June 2009. My perspective and impression of the master was 95% positive. The program is very good and the teachers are excellent, please notice that each lecture have one different teacher specialized in the topic, from around Europe, and for International topics I would said around the world (We had teachers from USA, Latin America, Asia), so in the beginning you could feel kind of lost with a different teacher every day but at the end is a wonderful experience and opportunity to learn different approaches. I should point that the master have great connections and is very linked to the OHIM, and for the trademark module is very important, because you have examiner, directors, member of Boards of Appeal and that kind of important people who deals everyday with TM, training you. Same connection is established with the European Patent Office in the Patent Module. The practice program is very good too; you have the option to access to well-known law firms in Spain and rest of Europe, and also in OHIM and EPO. Finally, I should advice you that classes are 50% in Spanish and 50% in English, at least this year, so you have to have a good level in both languages, for non Spanish speakers, the University offers Spanish classes, and my friends for this year learn to speak Spanish, and understood almost all the classes Alicante is a beautiful place and a very cheap city, and the campus is great!!! I hope my contribution help you to make your decision, I think mines was great!!! |
