Hey everybody.
I am a law student from India and wish to pursue LLM in IP. My interest is more towards the policy making area as I wish to practise/litigate in India after completion of my course. I am also inclined towards academic analysis as I am interested in writing scholarly papers.

Which law schools in the US provide for good LLM programs in IP? I have heard a lot about George Washington University, Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia, NYU, Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, Franklin Pierce Law Centre.

DO any of you know what exactly is the course structure and content offered in these programmes? what do you recommend keeping in mind my requirements?

Thanks!
Sneha

I am also looking for information on LLM in IP from US universities. I do have preliminary knowledge about few schools like Yale and GWU but would like to know more before I make my final list of schools to apply. Do let me know if you have anything to share.
Thanks

Somnath

There's an article about LL.M. in IP on this website.
www.llm-guide.com/article/86/the-llm-in-intellectu…

You will also most certainly find information about top law schools in IP if you use the search function in this forum, since this question has been asked before and I think some weeks ago even a ranking of law schools in different areas of law has been posted.

What I have done in order to narrow down my choice (not for IP law though) is to look at the law schools' course guides for this academic year, and then I made a list. From this list I could pretty much see whether a year at that school would fulfil my needs and wishes.

Good luck!
