LLM with internship program
Hello, I am planning to study LLM in the usa. The majors may be international or business law. I've heard that some of law schools in the us includes the internship as one of the LLM program. I would like to know which schools that offer such program. Please inform me if somebody has the acknowledge. Thank you.

LLM with internship program
University of Pittsburgh has one of these programs. You can get more info from the website. It is beneficial to do your LL.M., either from the Ivy League schools or Washington D.C. area, where there could be more opportunity for an internship.Thu Oct 04, 2007 11:11 PM In the US, rank of the University, is extremely important. I learnt it in a hard way. |

LLM with internship program
I would not personally recommend you for this program. It is rank 58th. Just click on the Law School Rankings in the home column of LLM GUide. You will know the rankings.Wed Oct 10, 2007 05:09 PM Try doing it from top 10. If you are able to get ur LL.M. from Harvard, NYU, Stanford, Columbia, your chances are quite bright. |

LLM with internship program
It depends what you mean by saying "LLM with internship." - internship as part of the program or internship options upon graduation. Fri Jun 12, 2009 05:15 PM McGeorge has a unique program of the first kind which allows you to choose from 3 options: 1. Study one semester in Salzburg, then go to their Sacramento campus for 6 weeks of pre-internship training/classes and then do a 10-12 weeks internship with a law firm anywhere in the world (US, Asia, Europe, Latin America). 2, Start your studies in Sacramento and continue with the internship as explained above. 3. Or just study one semester in Salzburg, one semester in Sacramento; or two semesters in Sacramento (no internship). In their LLM program the internship is 100% guaranteed. It's just part of the program. Pittsburgh offers an internship after you graduate but I am not sure whether they will just help you with the placement (general advice as all schools do) or will find you an internship for sure. Besides, I assume their options are limited to the USA only. Anyways, you have to ask the school for more information. |
