UC Berkeley
I just received an admission from Berkeley. It's time to make a decision. Rejected by Stanford, Chicago, Columiba, accepted by UC Berkeley, Upenn, Cornell, Michigan, USC, UT Austin, Boston, NYU, Duke, which one to choose? I am a practicing lawyer in China, which school has more strong business law programs? It seems that UC Berkeley is devoted to law teaching, research and public matter but I really has a good reputation.

Re: UC Berkeley
Thank you for your advice. I really have some concern over NYU. Someone told me that NYU is very successful in its law teaching business and the mass-production of law students makes it "McDonald of Law Schools". I understand that every year they will accept 30-40 LLM students from China (if I am not misbriefed). I don't see any plus when I get back to China and find the market full of NYU Alumni lawyers.

Re: UC Berkeley
Go to Berkeley, simply because the city is awesome. I really do not think any of the other schools have the same reputation (except NYU), and Berkeley is very small (30 LLM students I think). This means you will be much more likely to make good friends with both students and faculty. I hate New York though, so keep that in mind (and I am probably going to Berkeley).

Re: UC Berkeley
I would choose Berkeley and given your reluctance to go to NYU (an awsome university no matter how you look at it) I would seriously consider UMich, I have been to the ann arbor campus and it is simply amazing, the city is full of young people from all over the world and the faculty is very very good in terms of corporate law (Take into consideration that this is a public U ranked in the top 7 law schools). Cost of living is also very good in UMich...

I would also consider USC, which is an excellent school and has a great LL.M. program.
