I have a question: my attny told me, that, unlikely to JD program, LLM is not preparing for the Bar Exam, especially in NYS. If there is any way to take Bar Exam in NYS after LLM? The official rules are here: http://www.nybarexam.org/foreign.htm They even have a procedure whereby you may submit an form to request Advance Evaluation of Eligibility: http://www.nybarexam.org/eval_form.pdf Keep in mind that merely gettting an LLM in the USA does not *automatically* qualify you to sit for the NY Bar exam.
