Hello everyone

I had a query regarding the QLTT and would appreciate if someone could please answer it.

I have recently qualified as a lawyer from India and have no work experience in law field...

I have the necessary work permit to work in UK.

Could I sit for the QLTT exam in UK and then after passing the law exam get 2 years work experience by joining some law firm in UK or do I need to necessarily first have 2 years post qualification law practice work experience from India in order to just qualify to sit(eligible) for the QLTT?

As far As I know the answer is yes. However you won't get your practising certificate until you have gained hose two years of experience.
