TEAM of International Applicants for LL.M - 2008

I am planning to join a law school in USA for LLM in 2008 as an internatinational applicant. I liked the idea of prospective LLMs of 2006 and 2007 forming a team and am suggesting a team for 2008 applicants.

All interested 2008 INTERNATIONAL LL.M applicants are requested to reply to this post.

Let us form a team and exchange views / information for mutual benefit.

WISHING ALL 2008 APPLICANTS GOOD LUCK.!

Hi

I'm making application to USD and UC Davis for 2008 admission, and hopefully UCLA, UC-Berkeley, and USC too.

Now i'm working on statement of purpose and personal summary, any clues?

Hi all 2008 Applicants!

I am applying to 10 different schools, including CLS, NYU, Chicago, UPENN and Harvard. Yes, I know I'm crazy and 10 Schools are a little over the top, but couldn't take any chances.

Best wishes!

Hi gppinheiro.

Did you apply to Cornell? I applied like two months ago but in the web page it appears that my application in not yet complete.

Did you sent your transcripts to Harvard through the LSAC?

Hi everyone,

I think it's a pretty good idea to make a "Team" and share experiences.

I come from France and applied to several US tax programs, such as NYU and GT.

See you

Hi guys!

I've applied to several LLM programs including Columbia, Georgetown and NYU. Regarding this last University, has anybody received an "application complete/incomplete" e-mail? I'm concerned because all other univesities have informed me about the status of my application.

Hi daverod,

I have not received anything yet from NYU. However, it seems that NUY takes time to issue such notification. I don't think there's anything to worry about

Bye

I did apply to Cornell as well but have not yet received a complete file notification from them. It seems they usually have a longer timeline to review the files.

I did not use LSAC to send any of my applications, including Harvard. So far they acknowledged the receipt of my materials and told me they would start reviewing it.

As to NYU, I received a completeness notification on October 23th, just five days after they received my application materials. I reckon, however, this response takes awhile sometimes .

Hey D_D! I received an application and payment confirmation but no "application complete" confirmation. If you received an "application complete" e-mail in november, means that there must be something wrong with my outlook, or even worse, with my application...

Thanks for the info.

I have been admitted into AU-WCL, CWRU, YESHIWA UNIV - CARDOZO LAW SCHOOL NY, UNIV OF MINNISOTTA, AND WASHINGTON UNIV ST LOUIS.

AWAITING FOR RESULTS FROM YALE, HARVARD, CORNESS AND UNIV OF VIRGINIA BEFORE DECIDING.

Out of all the admissions I got by now, the Washington University St Louis seems to be ranking highest.

If any one has experience of this school, kindly share with me.

hi I'm from Scotland. To the poster above - I applied to NYU some time ago and have not received any further communication. My application was online.

Anyone else in the same situation?

I have been granted scholarship by way of partial fee-waiver by Case Western Reserve University. Lately, I have learnt about availability of financial assistance at Vanderbilt University Law School. Moreover, at Vanderbilt I found the curriculum and courses more broader and different than others.
