NYU application (The system is not working!)
Today is the last day for foreign students send their applications for the LLM program in New York. I have just submitted my application, but I can't pay the application fee, because de system is not working. I am desperate, because I'm not sure if I can pay the fee after the deadline. I have already tried to call the office of graduate admission, but today is saturday and there's nobody there. Sat Dec 01, 2007 02:12 PM Does anybody know if I can pay the fee after the deadline? |

In my opinion there are two things which will be applicable to your cases :Sun Dec 02, 2007 01:27 AM (a) Firstly, if a last date happens to be public holiday, automatically, the date is extended to next working day; (b) Since you have submitted your application in time, you should post the check for application fee alongwith the remaining material with your envelop postmarked by the last date. Of course, this is only my personal opinion and the final decision will be of the law school. |

I downloaded the payment identification form and I think I will send the check by mail with my other documents. I don't know if it is going to work this way. Actually, I find this system really weird. If I have to pay the fee until Dec.1, how come I can send a check by mail after the deadline? Sun Dec 02, 2007 03:44 AM Better ideas? |

I think in view of a large number of people facing the problem, NYU may allow us to pay on Monday. I called up the Graduate Admissions Office but they are closed on weekends it seems. So I think we'll get to know only on Monday!Sun Dec 02, 2007 06:50 AM Can we not pay online on Monday, is the online payment restricted only till the 1st? |
