I am looking for a 1 year research master. I do not know where to go. I saw a very good program at Oxford but it is very difficult to get into it. Besides Oxford, I saw a program at the Univ. of Edinburgh.
I searched in this guide, rankinglists and on the websites of the universities. But I am still not sure about where to go. I hope, you can tell me your experiences! That would be very helpful to me.
My interests are: international public law, human rights and criminal law.

Edinburgh has a great LLM programme. It is very international in nature and the faculty are quite hands on. Many of the lecturers have published books in the topics you mentioned and they are very involved with the LLM students. Additionally, there are always lectures and seminars in addition to the general course schedule that greatly enhance the academic experience at Edinburgh. I did my LLM at Edi several years ago and returned last year to write my PhD. As far as top British institutions go, Edinburgh is has been been the perfect blend of in-class and self-driven learning. I highly suggest you checking out the programme in more depth at www.law.ed.ac.uk/pg/taught/.
Best of luck!

What is the job prospect in law firms after a Research LLM?? It is the same than a Taught LLM?. On the other hand, Research LLM are good for networking? It seems that you are quite alone without contact with many students, but surely I am wrong.

I got admitted into the Master's degree in Law (Research) at Oxford. Not only did I get the degree, but was also admitted to the doctoral program (which I deferred for a year).

PM me for info.

I think that either the research or the taught are what you make them as far as networking. In both situations you need to be sure to take advantage of as many of the extra activities offered by the institution...ie: seminars, unique lectures followed by mixers, social activities, corporate hosted receptions. These are where the true networking happens. Best of luck!
