Chicago notification
I would be really in interested in learning the date that participants to the forum discussion received their "application complete" notification. I've heard that the sooner you submit the application, the sooner you receive an admission/rejection from Chicago.Thu Feb 07, 2008 10:42 AM I received mine on the 13th of December. I've got no news yet. Fri Feb 08, 2008 01:12 PM However, I don't think that I stand many chances getting an answer from U of C with the first bunch of people who will be notified until Feb 11th, for I have submitted my application early December, which is actually very late when compared to people like you who submitted their application early November. I guess MikifomItaly you are going to be one of the first to be notified from Chicago, so I'm expecting updated information from you now and not from my inbox! Good luck neighbor (I'm Greek)! |

Hi guysFri Feb 08, 2008 03:56 PM i'm Nuy from Indonesia i sent my application at the first week of january ( i know it's very late) and got the complete notification on 29 January, they said it was due to to a lag time in processing during this busy season i dont think i will receive the news as soon as 11 Feb, good luck to you all plz let us know for all of u who receive the news on 11 feb |

To brazilsaopaulo.Fri Feb 08, 2008 07:36 PM It's an unofficial information that we have from Rej, who is a doctoral student at the Law School of the University of Chicago. He claimed that the first decisions have already been made and that according to his information they are going to be communicated BY (not neccesarily ON) Feb 11th. I think he is a reliable source of information, but you have to know that this is nothing official. Consequently, it is LIKELY (but not 100% sure) that the first admission/rejections/waiting lists are going to be communicated during this weekend (as Chicago has proven in the past that it might send out information relating to admissions etc. even on Saturdays). |
