Hello there all,

It's already February 21st and still no word from Penn. I'm very inclined to panic right now, and I think I should. The delay CAN'T be a good sign. Unless there are others here who were fretting about receiving a reply, and are still awaiting their fates as well?

I would greatly appreciate it if those who are still waiting (as of Feb 21st) could send word as soon as something reaches their inbox..

Bellyache: I think that if the last announcement was to be taken as their current SOP, they might send out all the emails at once within the last 2 days of February. Especially since they said that deferring to the general pool means receiving the announcement before March 1. So I would try not to think about it until, maybe, the 28th or 29th of Feb. (which is only 6 to 7 days from now!) =D

I wonder why US LLM Schools make it so hard for us to spend money?? :P

Optimistic- Always good to hear from you. I am sure they are gonna send out emails at midnight on the 29th, so those who are waiting, stay glued.
Others- please block their email ids, you are going to receive their promotional mails forever!
NYU too has started sending out acceptance letters. Decisive fortnight ahead! Good luck everyone!

Hey Congrats Greg. Can you share some details of the letter, by when do you have to confirm the acceptance? were you deferred in the general pool earlier?

Hi guys,

Has anyone here received the formal admission letter supposed to be sent by snail mail? It's February 28, and I haven't received the letter yet. Should I expect it within one or two days, or does it usually take longer?

Hi!, I just found out that I got admitted, the email was sent about 3 hours ago.
Following this board was most helpful during the waiting period; I just want to thank everyone and hope to meet most of you in the summer.

I was deferred to the normal pool from early pool, so I did not predict my admission. I am really lucky

That should be mentioned in the formal admission letters we are supposed to recieve via snail mail at the end of February. I don't know why no one has received the letters yet. Has anyone got the letter?

Hello Everyone,

I got waitlisted today, one hour later I got an admission email from Chicago, so I will withdraw my application from UPenn pool to help all other waitlisted people.

Have a good weekend (and don't think too much about admissions :-)

Hey guys.. Same here, wait-listed.. Only after I emailed to inquire about my status. Apparently my application was incomplete cos they'd been waitin for my TOEFL results, which to be honest kinda pissed me off cos I'd already indicated that I'd been given a waiver. But anyhows it's good to know where I stand..
