I do not have a clue how admission procedure works with the waiting list. I guess that in every round they send out several offers and then they wait how many offers will be accepted and according to it they offer place to those on the waiting list. I don't want to make a decision until I've heard back from other places - Columbia, Cambridge, Michigan and NYU. It will be a difficult choice if I get into Michigan. I also like Columbia because of its strength in IP law - which is my area. However, Michigan has an excellent program housed in a really nice university town environment. I think I may geet too distracted in NY!!!
