Hey Eiospit, congratulation!!Fri Dec 28, 2007 06:01 PM I wanna get into Duke as well, but I'm still waiting. Did you get a "complete" mail other than "I have received your application" mail? Well anyhow, congratulations once aganin!! |

Hi guys,Mon Jan 07, 2008 04:03 AM I've been checking this board every day since my application, and it was really a killer... But,, I finally received an admission letter by e-mail last Thursday! As Duke was my first choice, I'm so happy about my admission. Hope to see you all this Summer. |

I am happy with Duke's response time. I mailed my application about Dec 15 and received email admission response today... wow that's less than 1 month. Will be checking out the campus soon when the whether gets better...

I mailed my applications roughly around the same time, i think it reached Duke on the 17th..but no good news yet..just got an email saying that they received my application and will notify me should they need any further materials..and that decisions will be sent out mid-Feb :( where are you from anyway? Hi folks! I´ve mailed my application to Duke on Dec. 19 and received the receipt confirmation on 21. I was not expecting to receive any answer before mid-February, but I became anxious after reading your posts! Did you use LSAC´s service? I heard that they usually take some time to provide the university with the transcripts… Regards!

Hi guys!Tue Jan 15, 2008 04:04 PM I got admitted too and planning to accept the offer. I visited this school earlier last year and it was tremendous. Beautiful campus and perfect weather. Also the business school was right next to the law school, so I'm looking forward for some joint curriculums that would be really practical. By the way, I used the LSAC service. |

Hi, all Sat Jan 19, 2008 06:17 AM I also got admitted to Duke and accepted the offer in Dec as Duke is my priority choice. Congrats to all and those who are waiting, I wish to see you in the campus. By the way, is anyone granted scholarship from the school? I am curious about fundings.. I realized that it's quite expensive to study in Duke comparing to other schools. Hmm |

hey there!Fri Feb 01, 2008 07:10 PM i sent my application in mid january and got admitted this wednesday. i was absolutely surprised and overwhelmed about their fast reaction. i certainly will accept the offer for duke was my first choice. there's only one problem left: i still have no clue how to afford it. can anyone give me money? just kidding... i'm looking forward to seeing you in august!!! florian :-) |

Fri Feb 01, 2008 07:37 PM hey there! thanks rafadavi, i applied for an llm in environmental and business law. i am working for the green party at the german bundestag as a clerk since 4 years and will pass the first state examination in law (JD) with magna cum laude till mid february. IELTS 8.0. no LSAC. i studied at the university of potsdam, duke's partner university - that's all. i first got an application receipt on monday via email and another email on wednesday in which they told me that i was admitted. today i received the official admission letter via email and a hard copy will follow shortly. i think my green background was the key for there surely are guys out there with better marks. i also worked very hard on my personal statement - it took me weeks and i think its the best paper i've ever written. hope i could help you...
