Hi guys. This afternoon I received my adimission letter to NYU@NUS with $ 35,000 scholarship. However, since it is unclear that whether students from this program are able to take NY Bar Exam, I prefer to decline it and attend NY program, though without any financial aid.

I sent my application on November 12 and received a complete notice on november 15.Mon Dec 24, 2007 06:46 PM If you apply for NYU@NUS which is rolling basis, it might be a shortcoming. But if you apply for NY city program, it's not a problem. hi, congrats on admission! |

Thu Dec 27, 2007 02:42 AM Hi superbuffon, You are also from China, right? hehe, based on my experience, for practicing lawyers the most thing NYU care is your professional achievement. My GPA is not very high, my ps is also ordinary. But I participated in many big deals in China, my clients include goldman, morgan stanly, UBS, etc. If you are a student, GPA and toefl may be more important |

Hello everyone-Fri Dec 28, 2007 01:56 AM Just to give those still awaiting their packs a headsup-my transcripts are still not uploaded in my admissions page, and i got my pack yesterday...so don't worry about that! It's NOT a sign that you aren't admitted. Congrats again to those who got in, fingers crossed for the rest :) |
