UVA applicants and admissions

I´ve also been admitted to UVA. I received the e-mail from the Graduate Admissions last Tuesday. I am from Brazil and have two other friends that were also admitted by Virginia. Decision should be made until March 18,2008.

Hi to everyone!
I visit this message board almost everyday since i sent my application first week of january and I finally received the goods news yesterday.
We and my wife received the offer yesterday, we are from Chile and we are seriously thinking about going to UVA.
Thank you to all of you guys for your posts, it has been very usefull for us.
We also apply to GULC and WCL (AU) and still waiting news from them...
Which should be our decision if we receive a offer from these other Schools???

it is so great that u both can discuss ur assignments in a lovely manner............lol.........I m just wondering what to do between NYU and UVA......i have offers from both sides...........

Chris i think u should come to Charlottesville as it is beautiful and calm place........

Regarding your question...we went to NY last september thinking in apply to NYU and we didnt like the way of life in NY for a student. Too many ours in the bus or the metro, too difficult to find a good place to live, etc...

Not in my case. But that´s only because I applied for a financial aid grant and until they know if they can give me some aid I won´t have a deadline.
Are you in the same situation?

I have made my decision: I am going to Uva. I had offers from Duke and Georgetown and all of them are great schools. However, I am moving into the US with my family and I believe that C'ville is a better place.

I am from Brazil. Any other Brazilians going into C'ville ?

Hello everyone. Congratulations to my international colleagues who have already been admitted to UVA.

I'm an American, and I just found out today (via email) that I've also been admitted to UVA for this fall! Have any other American applicants received the good news? If so, please post here.
