Gloomy reject notice
Hey guys.Thu Dec 27, 2007 04:53 PM Everyone in this site seems to have enormous backgrounds and all seem to already have got admissions from honorable law schools. But, I'm rejected from Georgetown and it makes me so gloomy. I don't understand why they evaluate my application not to worth to review again... So gloomy today.. But, I wish you good luck! |

Thu Dec 27, 2007 05:05 PM Hello Muriel, Sorry to hear that. It doesn’t mean that you will be rejected by all other good law schools. The admission process is weird sometimes. This is not an exact science. I’m sure the best is yet to come! Good luck, |

Hi Muriel...Fri Dec 28, 2007 07:33 AM I totally agree ....most of these admission procedures are no definite science...a lot depends on ur luck....so I think u have all the chance of getting a call from some other equally good law school. Smile. |

Wow... Thank you so much, guys...Sun Dec 30, 2007 05:53 PM I'm very moved by all of you.. I came to think that it might because one of my recommender had not submit his letter of recommendation.I didn't check his status. So, although I already submitted two letters from English professor and law professor from secondary university, but, required letter from faculty member in my undergradute might not have been submitted.... Anyway, I still have other hopes and also, career is not all in my life. Life is going on well without it. Thank you again, guys. Let's cheer up, together. |

Honestly don't fret for a second. Georgetown Law School is absolutely crap. I attended there last year and I did believe the advert hype they give themselves - but 14th place means you have 3000 other spots above you (500 at Oxford ) (400 at Harvard etc) (500 at NYU etc) in the world of LLM'S. I am not kidding the other students I met there were among some of the stupidest I have ever encountered in my life. Count yourself lucky. It is a total waste of money school. I got a scholarship which is why I attended but to actually pay to go there would be the biggest waste of money possible. Honestly the stupidest people I have ever encountered in my life ! Actually if you are not mildly retarded and you do go there you can get good grades because the other students are so dim. It is hard not to laugh they are that dim.

Law Career are you serious? I know a bunch of guys who attended Georgetown Law Center's LL.M. and were very pleased. Georgetown is a very well regarded university in the US. Mon Jan 07, 2008 12:41 AM Muriel, did you have any news on further acceptance offers? |
