Has anyone received his or her offer yet?
I've sent my application in mid November, they said they've received it in early December, but I havent heard anymore from them since then.
The "stage" in the tracker is still ''1'', that makes me worry!

I too applied to KCL around mid November or so.
The tracker also shows that my application is still at stage 1.
I'm not too sure why things are taking so long.
But at least now you know there are others in the same boat as you!

I posted my application in mid November as well, and received a conditional offer within two weeks.

Dear apo056:

does the "stage" in your tracker correspond with the fact that you've received your conditional offer, say, in ''Stage 5''?

Hey guys, I have opened a lawyrs group for KCL students. The goup is listed at www.llm-guide.com/university/104/university-of-lon… (click on the link to "King's College London Class of 2009")

KCL is my top priority, but I still haven't received the offer.
I could not apply as early as wanted to because on of my professors took so long with his recommendation.

Fingers crossed for all of us!

Here's the information from the KCL pages:

Your application was last updated on the: 26th November 2007
Your application is at stage: 3

Stage 3
You have been made a conditional offer and have been sent an email outlining the conditions.

I hope this is helpfull.

King's has also been very efficient for me. I got an offer within 2 weeks of posting my references and submitting my online application. However, it might be getting busy at this time.

Thanks for your information capa

Friends above, did you apply to other University of London colleges? Actually I've got offers from both QMUL and SOAS, but King's is always my top choice.

I applied to LSE as well, and to Cambridge. I think I would prefer both to King's, but King's is a close runner up.

I haven't heard from any of them.

Posting an update.
I received a conditional offer from KCL today so I guess they're moving along a little now.
Good Luck to everyone else!

For everyone who has gotten an offer thus far, are you aware that we have a three week deadline in which to accept the offer? or so it says on the website anyway.
I was actually unaware of this because no where did it state so in the email I was sent.
Also, do we just call them up and accept the offer?
Some direction on this matter would be much appreciated.

Do you mean for unconditional offers, or also conditional ones?
I don't know anything about that... the mail I received only says that I have to fulfil my condition (I still have to graduate) before August 31....

Can a person accept multiple conditional offers from different universities?

Agnese, yes I was referring to a conditional offer. I too got the 'you have to fufill the required conditions by August 31st' bit.
But if you go on to the KCL website under the FAQ questions there's one asking how long one has to accept an offer and the answer is three weeks,
I think just to be clear I will ring them tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. I can post the response here if you guys want but I would suggest you also call them just to be sure.
Rozh, I'm not too sure about accepting multiple offers. What I can say however is that it doesn't make sense to reject any offer. It's hard enough getting them to just simply reject them.
Also, take my situation for example. I have only heard back from KCL so far. Assuming the three weeks deadline is correct it means I either have to accept/reject the offer without knowing what the response is from my other unis (assuming they haven't replied within the next three weeks).
I am most certainly not taking that risk so I will accept the KCL offer as well as any other one I get - just to keep my options open!

It would indeed be very helpfull if you could post the reply from King's, asc.

If the 3 week deadline applies to us holding conditional offers as well, I am in a bit of trouble as it's been some six weeks since i received the offer.

asc, it would be very helpful if you could post here when you'll have news from KCL...
I'm still waiting for the result of my other application, but I really don't want to lose that chance because of "time" problems!
It seams a quite strange situation, because e-mails I prevoiusly received from universities were quite detailed! It seems strange that they simply "forget" to inform us of a such important thing!

Hi guys,
Ok so I tried ringing them today but they were busy so could only get through to automated service.
I emailed them instead and this was the response:

'The 3 week deadline applies to those with unconditional offers only.
As you have a conditional offer, you have until the 31st August to fulfill the conditions requested.
It is not necessary to accept a conditional offer before you have met the conditions unless you wish to apply for University accommodation.
If you wish to apply for accommodation, please send an e-mail of acceptance to this address with your name and application number.
It will take at least 24 hours for our system to be updated.'

So hope this clears things up for all. I didn't think they would leave out such important detail, but always better to check....just in case.
