Hi..

I am thinking of enrolling for the UOL External LLM and I would very much appreciate some feedback from those who are either doing it or have completed it.

I am thinking of taking 2 courses this year in Oct in Banking and Finance law whiilst working full-time. Do you think that would be too much? Also I dont have any study partners and would be doing this completely on my own...so I guess Im a bit hesitant.

But in general what is the course like? Is it very strenuous? Is it possible to do it completely on my own? Is it worth doing it?

Anybody else who might be sitting in Oct under the same specialization?

Please respond!!!!!

It really depends on you backgrounds. I can tell you from my own experiences that the course “Corporate finance and management issues in company law” is virtually similar to a typical undergraduate LLB “Company Law” course (well, at least a good portion of it.) So if you are a recent LLB/JD graduate, you should be able to cover these materials in a pretty fast pace.

As far as study partners go, once you sign up to the program, you will be given access to a web site that is dedicated to the postgraduate law program. You could use the discussion forum to connect with other students in the program.

Hope this helps. Good luck
