Anyone Admitted Cornell Fall 2008?
Dear All,Fri Jan 11, 2008 05:51 PM My application to Cornell was complete early December. Since then I have heard nothing. Has anyone got an offer or heard anything? I would be grateful to hear from those in a similar position. Hope all ur apps are going well. |

Hi,Fri Jan 11, 2008 08:15 PM Nope not a word apart from the notification that my application's complete. I've already had offers from Duke and Vandy, but haven't decided as I would like to see what Cornell has to offer (in terms of financial aid). Should I send them an email saying that I've received other offers but would like to know if they're gonna offer me a place? Sounds cheeky I know..but we've all got to weigh our options before deciding. Any thoughts? Di |

Have been waitlisted. Any idea what are the chances of candidates that are waitlisted getting admitted. How does Cornell compare with BU for Finance and Securities Laws?

Got it in the mail (regular post) today. I had completed my application in November. Any idea about the chances of getting admitted for a waitlisted candidate.

My status changed to decision on friday, I need to wait for the mail (10-14 days) But, Im afraid to be waitlisted, since I also completed my application on nov. I'm on waitlist. I got a mail today.Tue Jan 22, 2008 09:29 AM My status was completed on 4 Jan. I'm not quite sure when it had been changed to decision but i checked it yesterday. Anyone has ideas of the following: Are there a lot of waitlisted candidates? How long does it take for final result? |

Looks like there's a 'waitlisted' trend going on here.. I submitted my application on 15th december, got a 'complete' notice on 9th January and yesterday 21st January got a 'decision' note..Tue Jan 22, 2008 10:23 AM Fingers crossed for the letter now..agree with Miki, can't understand why they don't email out their decisions! i applied last year and was put on wait list they informed me in april.........if they r sending waitlist decisions now they may have changed their policy...........if they r rejecting right now then these ppl may not comly with their criteria.......good luck for all.....
