One step you could consider is your prefered city or town of practice. It's not particularly difficult to transfer from one country to the next country in the UK, or in the EU as long as you are able to complete the relevant Transfer Test(s). You should then contact the law society within the location you wish to study to find out what their EXACT requirements will be given your own unique circumstance. Ask for the legal education department at one of the three law society websites listed above. You may be required to sit a two year accelerated undergraduate LL.B. Then you will need to continue studies with a postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. The University of Edinburgh's School of Law, Legal Practice Unit is one of five places in Scotland offering this programme.
