Hi Rafadavi,

I received the acceptance letter from Fordham - Banking, Corporate & Finance LL.M- a few days ago (no email, just regular mail). I am from Brazil and sent my application on mid December.

No, I am not planning to accept the offer, since I was also admitted to Columbia (early review). I will inform them about my decision in the begining of next week. Good luck!

.... My toefl is 103 and my GPA around 3. I have been working in the legal affairs office of a bank for the past 2 years..

I believe that very important for the admissions committee are personal statement and LORec...

Personal statement was a very hard to write. Just in few words, what did you say? I read a lot of books, but they for colleges admissions, not for masters. If you would like to send it you can do it at lytkom@yahoo.com.
My TOEFL is 101 and GPA is 3,2, but I am very concern about my essay and check my mailbox 3 times a day:))

I wrote a few things about my background - why I chose to study law. The basic part of the personal statement was about my future goals and especially why i want to do an LL.M. in banking law and why I applied to Fordham... I hopes it helps..
I believe that you have good credentials (GPA, Toefl). When did you apply?

I applied on February 29:)). As I was told today, it is possible to apply for more than 1 program at the same university. Did not know it before. Still, there is Boston University left. I will try it as well.
