Hi Guys,

Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I was accepted to the International Human Rights Program. Think there will be about 30 on the general program. I'm from Ireland and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone In August.

Hey everyone, I've been following your discussions (even though I wasn't registered) these past few days, and just like you I was nervously waiting for the results!

First of all, congrats to all of those who have been admitted and I'll keep my fingers crossed for those who are on 'reserve' lists.

Finally, I've been admitted to Lund, the programme that was my 2nd choice, only because I mis-judged the programme rankings when I was applying. Over the time, I realized it should have been my first choice, so you could say that luckily I got admitted for my very 1st choice!!

The reason I'm writing this is that I'm overwhelmed by happiness, and goosh I think I'm even more nervous now hahaha.
At the Studera site, at my account-page, it says 'no reply from me is needed' right now.

So, what do I do now??? Search for housing and ask for the residence permit would be expected, right? Maybe I should call my programme coordinator...Gosh, I'm so confused LOL.

Anyway, I hope to see y'all in Lund!!!

best wishes
Toni

Hi ToniJ-my studera notification also said that I was admitted without reply needed...but I replied yes anyway! just to be certain! You never know! I have pre-registered and will be going to the consulate tomorrow to file for a visa. Congratulations! and do not be nervous...I understand though-I am anxious myself and it is a far move for me! But it is exciting. What program were you admitted to? I'm general HR law. Well, go and celebrate! Congrats to everyone who has been admitted and good luck to everyone who is waiting for confirmation!

Welcome to the board Toni! It would have been nice to have your input during those trying moments of anxiety and waiting.

I too have been admitted to Lund for my 1st choice. The other options have therefore been deleted which is ok by me. From the website I gather that you will now preregister and start the accomodation search etc.

Where are you from and what programme did you get admitted to? Congrats to you and all the best to all!

Remember there is still another admission round to go.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for your support!

I'm from Croatia and the programme is Film and Media Production. I'm so excited!

@Giustizia: you replied? What did you write?

@Genep: I applied for the scolarship too, but I don't think this programme is eligible...Anyway, I think we should receive some sort of information soon. At the studyinsweden.com it says that the decision should be made sometime in May or in June.

ToniJ-you are from Croatia?! I lived with a Croatian woman while I was working at the ICTY! All I learned was dirty words in BCS! haha. I've always wanted to visit-I hear it's beautiful.

As for the reply: I simply clicked the reply button on my studera page and and checked off "yes" next to the name of the program and clicked submit reply. I don't think that it was necessary but if you are able to do it-why not? Contact your program administrator to confirm as well.

Congrats.

Good morning everybody, its hot and sunny right now in Brunei.

I've been accepted by Lund too. But what about the official letter, will they be one? What should i do next? I'm so excited!

I've been re-reading this page and double checking my studera account and realised that I too do not have to reply but I just ticked yes in the reply page, just incase anything happened.

Please reply for those who have admitted to lund, on what to do next. Thanks :)

OMG i really cannot believe it!

I hope for the best to all whos still waiting and congrats to those admitted :)

1) under column selection results - reserve 8 and under column no. of people admitted is 12 ...does this mean i am accepted?

2) how is your acceptance communicated?? i mean does it definitively says "accepted"??

No, I have no further information or remark. Well it did say, there is no reply required from me. It went on to say, the 2nd round of selection will be published on 29-5-2008. However there is a small note in red which says last day to reply is 28-5-2008.

Its kind of confusing! I just dont understand why it cannot be communicated in simple english like acceptance or rejection as in those universities in the UK?

Heyy, hahahaha, why am I not surprised? Hehehe, almost every person first learns the dirty words in Croatian...We have a pretty large amount of those here! hah!

But yeah, it is beautiful though. I live in Dubrovnik, you should definitely visit the town someday, I think it's a beautiful experience for a tourist, it's one of the most romantic places in the world!

Anyway, back on topic, maybe I should go "reply" too and I'm gonna contact my programme coordinator right away to confirm my application. Are you sure there's nothing else we need to do to confirm our application now?

I'm actually quite confused now and scared not to miss anything hehehe.

cheers

Congratulations to all those who have been admitted to Lund as for me am on Reserve dont know my chances but how I wish they would respond with precise notes for instance Accepted or Rejected or on Wait/Reserve List how easy that will be guese for those accepted next step is to print the pdf letter that was sent and head to the Swedish consulate.
Incase one has gotten an admission to anotehr University with scholarship and you are on teh Reserve list to avoid dissapointment is to accept the one you have being on Reserve is a gamble.

Once again congrats to all and for those who wanted to do human rights and the like and you dont get a chance at Lund this year op next year is still close enough

Lets keep in touch on this site to see wsuup

Good luck
