Hi,

I'm collecting information about LLM courses also oriented to the business administration (or economical matters) or, in any case, designed for business lawyers educated outside the United States.

At now I've found very interesting only the LLMK from Northwestern University.

Anyone knows any other program similar to that?

Thank you.

Andrea

P.S. Counsel, I would really appreciate Your help in this matter as far as I suppose You're really informated about that. Tank you.

Have a look at the joint degree program of UPenn/Wharton. I've been told that it is excellent considering that Wharton is one of the best business schools worldwide.

Andrea,

As per the LLMK program I can say that is one of the best programs of its kind, you have to consider that Kellogg Business School and Northwestern Law School are great schools that can offer to your Résumé a really strong history.

Also, is important to say that, is the only program of its kind.

Go to this website: www.law.northwestern.edu/graduate/llmkellogg/

There you can find information regarding the LLMK program.

By the way, where are you from?

When do you plan to go to study your LLM?

Hi Counsel,
and thank you for your contribution to this post and in general to the others discussion boards on this website.

I come from Italy, 27 years old, working as from 2005 for a business law firm (more than 300 lawyers only in Italy).

I'm planning my LLM for 2010-11; it sounds strange to say, I Know, but reading all the posts I founded very important to plan in advance this kind of experience, also for the financial aspect.

So, what about you? You will start on next June with the LLMK or what else?

First of all, I want to wait for other Universities admission, until then I will take my final decision.

It’s so hard to choose between great programs; don’t you think so?

Yes, I agree. But it's better to have the opportunity of choosing between outstanding programs than to be limited to few of them.

In any case, I'm just looking around to have an idea of the course appropriate to my professional profile (that is the problematic question, I suppose....)

Anyhow the "multi application" for different courses it's the only way to consent you to have a range of really interesting options.

So, have a good luck....As for me...the appplication and choosing time is 2009-10 in order to start in June 2010......

Does anyone knows something about the LLM in Corporate Governance & Practice from Stanford Law Shools? I saw the program on the website and it seems to be good and also well balanced between economics and law.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional experience (I agree...). The LLM class is limited to 15 students!!!
