It depends on whether you need a visa to enter Singapore. If you don't need a visa, nothing to prepare. If you do need a visa, NYU@NUS should provide you a link to apply online. Once approved, you print out a confirmation letter, which will serve as visa to enter Singapore. Everyone needs to apply for a student pass once arrives in Singapore.

Yes, in Singapore right now. I think there should be someone contacting you from this Program. Have you decided to join?

hey! ya i have been selected for the programme and i have also decided to join it. Therefore i have already made my pre deposit of $500 in jan.
I believe the final enrollment is sometime in the beginning of march (this is what the university has informed me). N from another current student of the programme i was informed that visa formalities begin once this final enrollment process has began.
I would be really grateful if you could give me an estimate of the tution fee and books.
Thanks

It is interesting that the thread started here, which seems to be designated to Canadian law schools. Anyway, I am happy to provide information on tuition and books. I am not sure whether NYU will raise tuition for year 2008/2009. Bear in mind in addition to the tuition (about $40,000 this year), some extra administrative fees are payable (around $1000). The NYU books are expensive. We even paid UPS fee to get them in Singapore. I think next year they will ship the books earlier so that you don't have to pay for the courier. But average price for one textbook is $100. I think some of the first year students want to sell their books. Maybe after you register for the courses you can contact them for the books.
