how did you managed to do that?

Have you accepted the offer of admission? You need to do that. The Graduate Admissions Office will then email you with instructions for setting up your NYU NetID.

Does anyone have information about the tuition at NYU for 08-09 and when is it due after the payment of the initial acceptance amount (USD500)?

Just curious;
Same as number of others I guess, I still am waiting the admissions result.
In response to my recent inquiry to the admissions office, I got this response.
***********
A decision has been made on your file and should be arriving in the mail shortly. We appreciate your patience in this matter.
***********
I think this would be a boilerplate response. But it says that decision has been made.
I can not log in the admitted student website still. I was wondering if this means that I was rejected...?
Luckily I have some other offers as well, so even if I got rejection from NYU it's not too big deal personally, though certainly I want to be admitted anyways.
But I do want to know the result as soon as possible. Just waiting not knowing which school to go for sure is quite frustrating.
Does anyone have any clue? Pls kindly share your thoughts.

I received the same mail two days before UPS delivered my admission. So I think it's safe to say that you're in.

PS
Rejection notices never "arrive shortly" ;)

Hi, to those who are still waiting for news:

I sent an email asking if the commission already reached a decision on my application and here is the email I got:

Thank you for your interest in NYU School of Law.

As indicated in our application materials and on our website, LL.M. applicants who meet the December 1st deadline will be notified of the Committee on Graduate Admissions’ decision on in early to mid-March. The decisions for the NYU@NUS program will be communicated on a rolling basis through January 15. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict an exact date on which an applicant will receive a decision. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

The Committee on Graduate Admissions recognizes that law schools operate on different calendars, and sometimes applicants must decide on whether to commit to another institution before hearing from NYU School of Law; we regret any inconvenience this may cause you.

Thank you.

It does not give me any information on whether they reached a decision or not, and contrary to the emails other applicants received, it does not tell me that I will get an answer shortly....

Following the above email I have sent them another email asking for further details and they replied as follows:

"The Decisions Committee cannot guarantee a specific date on which you will receive your decision letter. However, please be aware that we are working extremely hard to release all decision letters as soon as possible."

Hi, SYA, fenua24 and gia

I got a same email as well as fenua24 and gia.

SYA, would you please tell me when you file your application? I applied to NYU on late November. If we can see this difference in an optimistic way, this is just a timing thing...?

Thank you for your response!

Hi everyone,

While I would like to sincerely congratulate those who have already been admitted to NYU,
it would be very interesting to know of the rejections.
Are there any so far?

Thanks.

(really nervous with no response from NYU and their mysterious emails)

I got the same e-mail from NYU that fenua24 had received and I'm still waiting for their mail..
I applied in the end of November, so maybe they're still analyzing the applications....

Hi,
this is soooo weird. A few students from my class received an admission offer a week ago, and today another got accepted. Hard to detect the coherence of the whole thing!!!

In response to YUYA's query and as an information for others who may be interested, here's factual info in my case.

I submitted the on-line application late Nov, for Corporation Law LLM. I got the e-mail I've put quote above late last week, in response to my query on my application status.
Today, I received admission letter kit (together with informational CD-ROM, etc.) by UPS, the admission offer letter is dated as March 5.
So, it took some time, to finally reach me..
I also noticed that I now can log-in to the admitted students website, which I could not get in yesterday.

I believe that they are still in the process of sending out admissions.
Though waiting is painful, you can and should be optimistic, and pls relax not to be too worried or get nervous.

Best wishes for all.

Dear SYA, thank you for telling us this, I think that we still have a chance because I also applied mid to late November, also in Corporation Law.
I hope that I receive something at least until the end of this week, let's see....

Hey, guys! Congratulations to all admitted! I am in too! Telling my situation for those who may still concern waiting (cuz I was finding calmness in such posts):
I am 21 y.o guy from Kazakhstan, almost have no work experience, my toefl ibt score is 101 (R 29, L 29, S 19, W 24). They have only said that it is strongly recommended to take some speaking courses before the semester.
I`ve submitted my application straight before the deadline and my offer is postmarked by March 6.
okay, see you all in NY this autumn!
