I am. Who else?

It seems both unis are in progress of admission. Ox(gathered field 18th Jan-14th March), Cam( before 15th April ).

Let's wait and see what will happen. If you are rejected by both, what will you do? If you are admitted by both, which will you choose?

I received UCL and some other offers, does anybody know if there is a time limit to reply to the offer( to take the offer or not )?

I'm waiting for both. If I get both (which would be amazing, not just assuming I will) I would choose Oxford.

Hi! I applied for both too, still waiting of course. If I get both I would *probably* prefer Oxford, but if I got funding at Cambridge I would go there. That said, I'm not sure when funding decisions are made so you might need to accept a university before you know!

It seems I might receive a rejection or an admission at any time (Hell or Heaven). I can't stop refreshing the webpage every 2 hours. :P

Yeah I've heard Camsis is not live. But maybe this year it changes better? Anyway thank you for your information.

If your application was completed at Ox, I believe you are also assessed in the 18th Jan to 14th of Mar Gathered Field. So for Ox, theoretically you will receive result from 18th of Jan, and by May.

For Cam, you will receive result by 15th of April.

I cannot assure but just for you reference.

Ox said they will start admitting extraodinarily excellent candidate as long as they find one. So, if you are that type, you may receive offer theoretically since 18th of January, the first day of this gathered field. And they said applicants in this gathered field (1.18-3.14) shall expect to have an answer within 2 months after the gathered field is closed. So I guess we will have an answer by middle of May.

by the way, your application must be completed at Ox before 18th of January, otherwise it will go to the next g/f, and will not follow what I said above.

The Oxford notifications are due out on 14 March, so you should hear within a short space from then if you got in. If you didn't get in, I'm not sure how long they will take to notify you. Looks like Oxford notifications are going to come out before Cambridge. I'm sick of waiting!!

What I understand from the Ox law webpage is that you will expect to receive an offer since 14th March and within 2 months( Until middle of May ). But if you are extraodinary excellent, you may receive an offer during this gathered field.

I was talking only applications in gathered field 18th Jan to 14th Mar.

Me toooo. Does anybody know if there is a SOMEBODY who receives an offer from Ox or Cam?

BTW, I have known people who have already received offer of Master's degree from Ox and Cam but in other fields of study this week and last. When will Law comes out...

It is great to know Cam started to send offers. Seems it started from England.

I wonder if they also applied to Ox?

A suprise that Cam is earlier than Ox.

I still have to suffer from waiting...

I'll jump in on this line of thought - I'm from England and have applied to both, and only heard from Cambridge so far, but this much I expected, their deadline was earlier than Oxford... Still hoping for Oxford though, grr...

I've applied to both, and I've heard from Cambridge, which takes about 95% of the waiting-related anxiety off the table. Even if Oxford takes two months to respond, or never does, at least now I know what I'm doing in September.

And does Oxford really only mail out acceptances by actual post? Like with stamps and everything?

Hi everyone. I actually applied (and got accepted) to Oxford last year. I had to apply this year again as they wouldn't let me defer. What happens is that they really don't ever send out offers before the date they specify (here 14 March 08) and they send paper letters not emails to notify you of acceptance, so depending on where you live it may take a while from the 14th to let you know. It shouldn't take two months unless they give you an offer late after some people already reject their offers (as with Cambridge I suspect the 15 April deadline is the deadline to see if anyone rejects the offer early so they can give some more offers). Hope this helps.
