Hi Knuka! I've also been accepted in the International Business and Trade Law LL.M. this fall. However, I've also been accepted to BU (American Law). I know that BU is higher ranked, however I don't know which one to choose. Hi everybody,Wed Jun 11, 2008 02:06 PM I’ve been admitted in the BCF program. I’m from Spain so, obviously, my mother tongue is Spanish too. Gippi I’m also feeling nervous and a little bit scared about talking during class or doing oral exams in English. In fact, one of the major reasons which made me decide to enroll an LLM Program in USA is that I need to improve my English skills deeeeeeeeply… I work for an English law firm so I receive phone calls from foreign clients and draft legal documents in English almost everyday…. and I feel I must gain fluency in conference calls and meetings, where I spent most of my time……I’m sure that Fordham will develop further our international profile…. Don’t worry because most of the people will be like you and me the first weeks of classes since 90% of the LLM program alumni come from non-English speaking countries. Take it easy!! Now I know I have a Spanish-speaking friend in class…Good news!!! I moving to NYC on August 3rd…if anybody wants to organize lunch/dinner/party where BCF Class 09 can meet each other before classes begin just can count on me!!! Best Regards |

I guess these are normal feelings... The good thing is that I also believe Fordham will strongly develop our international profile. By the way, I am from Spain too!
