Hi guys! I called the Admissions Office yesterday and they told me that they notified a few people this time and that they are going to notify the rest in the days to come. The man that I spoke to specifically said that the fact that I didn't receive an email does not mean that I am not accepted!

P.S. Do any of you have a problem to read their personal messages? Because the last two days I can't open my mailbox!

I keep my fingers crossed for those who are still waiting for an answer. Don't worry too much, since it seems that they have not released all their decisions yet (and, notably, no rejections).
I received the admission decision by e-mail (and I had sent my application around Nov., 20).

Taka1112 (from Tokyo), Jukkrapop (from Thailand), Sun84 (from Malaysia) and LLM07, I'm looking fwd to meeting u in August (I'm from France)! I am thinking about creating a group on Facebook, what do you think?

Have all you sent the Statement of Intent to Register Form? I sent it yesterday by email and just received the response from UCB.

Guys, congratulations to all of you. Please could you tell me when did you (admitted persons) get your application completed? Mine was at the end of November and I received the "application complete email" at the end of January...Thanks!!!


I submitted at Dec 12 and received the "complete email" at Jan 30.
I think all of us received the email at the same time.

I lived for longtime in France. during that time I got a DEA and a DESS.
Do you know if the 2 sets of our original transcripts and diplomas (copies certifiés conformes) to be submitted must be translated to english?

Jukkrapop: Yes, I sent the Statement of Intent to Register Form, last wednesday.

Aleminor: Good question... To my mind, since they don't mention it, a translation is not mandatory (they already know our curriculum and what they expect to receive). But it sure can be helpful for them.
BTW, congrats for both your DESS and DEA. Where do you come from?

J'aimerai tellement être ds vos chaussettes... malheureusement jai perdu tout espoir comme je n'ai encore reçu aucun email... et d'aucune autre université d'ailleurs...

Pourriez svp me renseigner sur vos profils? (universités, niveau, experiences etc...) Je vous en remercie infiniment et encore bravo!!

Gaelle, I agree with you, I don't think we neeed to translate to english the copies certifiés conformes. I just wanted to be sure about it. By the way, I'm Mexican, but I currently living and working in Brazil.

Hello everyone!!
I was accepted at Berkley too!! I received the e-mail last week, and already sent my statement of intent. Now, it´s time to get prepared to the LLM. Altough the dorms are the closest place to the Boal Hall, I think I will choose other option, because I heard that there is only one bathroom to the whole floor!! I would rather sharing an apartment with another student, and have to share a bathroom with this person... Moreover, I heard that the rooms are very expensive, around $ 1.3000,00 per month ( and no bathroom!!!). It´s a hard decison to be made...(and a important one).

I think they are waiting to receive the deposits of the first way of acceptances, which deadline is today.

i am listening the cd-rom received from UMich...very interesting, and well done.

if admitted at Boalt Hall, it will be defenitely a difficult choice...
