NYU vs Columbia
I read the discussion on NYU vs. Columbia vs. U-Penn. As far as I understood it really is a matter of interest; and that is my problem. I am admitted to both LLM programs and planned to focus on international law. So everybody says NYU, definitely. But when looking at the courses offered and the faculty members I am not so sure anymore. Is it all about names or is there more to it? May be this additional information might be useful: I am especially interested in international economic law as well as international dispute resolution. If anybody has some helping ideas or comments please let me know. Thanks a lot!

NYU vs Columbia
I have the same problem and similar interests. After I spoke to some NYU LLM-students, I think I will go for Columbia. For example, Andreas Lowenfeld is (allegedly) a horrible lecturer. Wed Mar 05, 2008 01:57 PM Robert Howse, who has been visiting from Michigan, will not be visiting this fall, I think. Koskenniemi will lecture at Cambridge, not NYU. [Edited 05 Mar 2008 by Humber] |
