Hi everyone,

I have just received a conditional offer from Cambridge. Just thought I'd let everyone now to highlight that decisions are being made.

Good luck to everyone.

Does it show in the Camsis already or should I wait for an email instead?

Just received mine by email as well, but no details as to what the conditions are, and it hasn't shown up on CamSis yet.

Congratulations to everyone with offers!

Out of curiosity, have any Canadians heard yet?

I've got my offer, too.

PS: It probably won't show up on CamSIS for some time. Reading previous year threads, it seems safe to say that CamSIS is not live.

Good luck everyone.

Dear all, nice meeting you here!
I am a Chinese applicant for Cambridge's postgraduate courses. I was informed of a conditional offer in my self-service page in Mid -Feburary. But till now, I haven't received the official letter mailed to me from Cambridge. The self service said,"please be patient as it might take a while to arrive". Could you please tell me "a while" may take how long according to your experience? Thanks a lot for your help! It is almost 3 weeks since I heard about the offer, you know. I am anxious for the letter mailed by Cam.

Someone said to me that they don't make decisions everyday, so they probably won't send e-mails everyday, they'll probably come in groups...

I just received a conditional offer today. I am from Norway.

Obviously I was thrilled! - untill i read about the conditions. I need to get three A's out of three possible in my fourth year of studies. Approximately 5 students out of 300 will receive such good grades in my class.

So, in reality, this is a rejection. Well, best of luck to all of you!

Does this mean offers for England has finished, now it turns to west and north Europe?

Just curious and nervous.

I don't mean to sound negative but I asked a friend who is on the LLM there at the moment and, quite poorly, Cambridge don't e-mail you if you don't have a place; you have to check CamSis, but that isn't updated very often, quite a confusing system but that's how they do it apparently.

Do you mean rejection is only sent via letter? So it means if I don't receive an email Offer next week, maybe it is bad news. But anyway I will still wait and see. Will report in this Guide no matter the result is positive or not. By the way , how about Ox? Any news?

As I understand it, not even that, they just cancel your application on CamSis, which isn't exactly helpful! But I did hear that they make decisions on in 'groups' so by all means they could have just done the first round and then see how many places are left afterwards etc.

Still nothing from Oxford, I think they operate on a similar basis, but to be honest, Oxford is a long shot for me, my tutor told me I had about a 75% chance of Cambridge but only 25% of Oxford, so I'm not holding out much hope, but fingers crossed...

Lucky you.

What's worse, I heard a candidate from the same country of mine received an offer many days ago. But I still have no news. It is good that I still exist on Camsis.

Indeed that is good news, surely as long as you're on Camsis then you're still being considered.
