is there someone who applied for IP and was already successful in getting admission?

I have received a telephone interview last week but I amstill waiting for their decision. I applied for the LLM in Law, Sciences and technology.

I was a little bit disappointed because it was 09:00 PM (just after work), I wasn't in condition so I have just tried to do my best but I have no hope to be selected... Wed Mar 19, 2008 02:07 PM FYI I am from France. |

I didn't apply to Stanford (I'm an American J.D. holder, thus ineligible), but I'm curious, exactly what purpose are these "candidate interviews" meant to serve? Hi all.... I have applied for LL.M. in Law, Science & Technology. I recently sent an e-mail to the SLS admission committee, requesting the status of application, as i had not heard from them since early Jan-08. In their reply dated March 18, 2008, they confirmed my TOEFL waiver and informed that the admission results shall be available by April 1, 2008. I applied for Law, tech and science,too., and I didn't get a phone call. I sent e-mails to Stanford several times asking about my status and all they say is "Wait until April 1".Okay, I'm waiting. What can I do other than that? But this tedious admission process is really wearing me down. I'm a little angry to find out so many people are literally "suffering" as well. I wonder if Stanford simultaneously sends decisions to all admitted applicants. Does this mean that applicants including me who haven't received e-mail now after the interview have no chance to be admitted? Any information would be appreiated. |

I don't see too many people waiting for SPILS here, but here goes:Thu Mar 20, 2008 07:40 PM I emailed Stanford to find the status of my app, and they told me that my file was currently under review by the admissions committee. I suppose I am one of the last candidates to be considered by Stanford on account of a courier-service-tragedy, but they were very friendly and understanding about it all and finally did process my application. Hope this helps anyone wondering about SPILS status. |
