Hey, guys. I got offers from the Ohio State Univ and Pittsburgh University of the International Law. But I am confused. Which one do you think is better? Please tell me your opinions? Thank you for your help.

Hi,

I am graduating from Pitt Law this year:) so I would, for sure, recommend you to go to Pitt. It is a very small LLM programm (15 people only) but the quality of education is pretty high, especially if you want to specialize in international commercial law and international trade law. Profs. Flechtner and Prof. Brand are well recongnized scholars in area of CISG (Vienna Convention of Sales of Goods). You can find a lot of articles written by them in www.cisg.com and www.unilex.com

BTW, I have just received my offer from NY Big 4 company with the support of "internship program" of PITT Law.

Good luck with your decision!!!

Hi, Liyastar

Could you please tell smth more about Internship program for LLM participants. I didn`t find any information about it in www.law.pitt.edu/academics/cile. Is it the same to Foreign internships for JD students? What is it duration and dates during academic year, cost?Is it possible for foreign lawyer to practice law in NY company just with LLM degree?
I would be very grateful for your answer.
