LPC and LLM in Australia
Hi,Thu Mar 13, 2008 09:44 AM I've been trying to find out whether the LPC offered in the UK is the equivalent to the LLM in Australia...no luck. I was wondering if I can take a LPC course in Australia with a LLB from the UK. What is the structure of the LLM program and how long will it take me to become a qualifying solicitor in Australia? Thank you! |

U will need to undertake Australian Constitutional Law (at the very least) to fulfill the academic requirements for admission into Australia.Sun Apr 06, 2008 01:32 AM Notwithstanding, you might be required to undertake a practical legal training program (graduate diploma in legal practice) offered by australian universities if you are unable to demonstrate that you have practice experience in 11-12 areas of the law :) cheers greg |
