This was the reply: "As stated in all of our application materials and on the website, our admissions are made on a rolling basis from late December through late April. When a decision is made on your file, we will notify you by email. Thank you for your patience in this process." Nothings come through for me yet, so its just a wait tlll the email, I guess.... Thereafter I heard nothing from CLS. Last week I wrote to CLS requesting a decision as I have been granted admission to Upenn and have to pay their deposit by April 1st. I got the same automated reply as Ruma, that decisions are made on a rolling basis. I then called them and spoke a very helpful lady. She asked me to foward my Penn admission email to them so that they may expedite the decision process on my file. Once I did that, I heard from CLS within 2 hours with a decision on my file. Unfortunately, the decision was a rejection. I got the feeling that some decisions are made but not communicated. For example, in my case, I doubt the admission committee could have reviewed my file within 1-2 hours of my email and the decision had probably already been made (although not communicated to me). I really do not hink that they would reject you on the sole ground that you wrote an e-mail requesting that a decision be taken. It would be uncalled for and a shame for such a university. Here is my advice: write an e-mail, tell them that you have deadlines real close and that you need to know when their decision, whether positive or negative, will be available. Just say you can't wait much longer. They'll understand that they need to take a decision without even having to explicitely ask them.
