But do you know if the second application (in a same university) is automatically rejected? Is there somebody here who have been rejected last year and accepted now (with different letters, new toefl, more experience)...? I would greatly appreciate you help and your experiences.. Thanks... Besides better recommendations and TOEFL, I think the most important thing is to show the schools what progress you have made and what makes you believe that you will be of value to those schools. Yes, I was rejected before. I applied to some top law schools a year before I graduated from college, and I got rejected by most top 10 law schools. I tried again this year, and got admitted to almost all schools I applied except one. I did not retake TOEFL, but I got better recommendations and resume. If you are determined to apply again next year, then you have to do A LOT in one year. But I am sure it is worth trying! It is surely probable to get into the school you want next time. My suggestion is don't go to the school not your first choice unless you "have to do it" in this year. Good luck! I am quite positive that there is no automatic rejection. I would suggest you to wait and try it again next year. (Especially if it is a dream LLM for you).
