I’m in the waiting list of Berkeley, so I want to know if anyone can tell me:

1. What are my real chances to be admitted once you are in the waiting list?
2. What is the percentage of waited list people who got an admission offer?
3. When we will hear back from Berkeley?

Idem excpet I have been admitted to NYU.. I am on the waitlist for Berkeley and UPenn.. anyone hear from one of those yet ?

I heard that someone says waitlisted candidates would not be notified till late May.

I mean they said in their e-mail that we "waitlisted applicants" get ranked in early May, so it's highly improbable that we get a decision before mid-, end of May.

I received an admission e-mail on 1 april.

I was also waitlisted, but, as you can see, things are moving faster than we expected.

PS: I received an email from berkeley with the names of the students that will be joining this year LLM program, your name was there. Considering im 22 I was happy to know that there were people my age.

It is basically a chance to obtain an LLM over two summers, starting in 2009. It is in very early development. Were you waitlisted? It works out well for me - hope I get in!
