Wow! congratulations equity's, that's a lot of money. I'm afraid my bursary would have to be reviewed since I am totally funded by a third institution, but have no idea how much would be left after the revision... do you know anything?

I got my letter for a 1500 quid bursary from the European Trust last week.. Sat Jun 21, 2008 04:01 PM so not everyone gets 2500 or 4000 :-) (congrats to you two!) but it's still a lot of money of course.. |

Equity's, I think you can keep them: The amount of the Bursary will be subject to review if you receive funding from third sources sufficient to meet the Board of Graduate Studies¨guarantee, that is, 12.000 pounds or so.

It is not college specific; I found out via a letter two weeks or so ago; I'm located in Canada...

Hi Sydneycat, I received an award from the Cambridge Trust/Jesus College covering uni composition fee and college fees. I received the letter by courier. I sent my financial undertaking form about a week before I received the award.

Fugito, I sent my financial undertaking form more than a month ago and I heard (positively) from the Cambridge European Trust less than a week ago.

Just heard I got a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust. Anyone know what happens when they pay the money to your college - do they use it towards your fees?

if they work the same as the european trust, the college will give you the cheque, the entire one.

Thanks yaiza. Good to know. I'm now in a bit of a pickle about what to do as I had decided to go to Oxon, but this might change my mind... :)

Hi everyone. Lookign forward to meeting you all properly in October! I received a letter a little while ago saying I have been given status as an Honourary Cambridge Commonwealth Tust Scholar. Does anybody know what this means? I have no idea! I am fully funded by another scholarship from South Africa. Thanks.
