firefly: NYU or (GW with full tuition waiver)?

I have a big dilemma guys.

Should I accept NYU, take corporate classes and hope to land a job in NYC, which is what I hoped to ?

Or should I accept George Washington, study IP, and somehow find a job with that ? Is there any chance for that ? Will I take the D.C or the NY bar exam in that case ? GW is with full tuition waiver.

What do you think ??

Thanks.

Judge&Jury: NYU or GW full tuition waiver?

Specify your interest, either corporate or IP. As they are not the same, your difficulty will be lessened. NYU has a large corporate llm class. GW's IP is very good too, its rank 3rd in IP just behind UC-Berkeley & Stanford (2008). Also its probably the oldest IP teaching institution which gives strength and credibility in the program. Between DC and NY, well.. its speaks for itself. Parenthetically, its just your heart's choice either corporate or IP.. not really a question of institution since both are good schools. It would have been different if you applied both for corporate llm program, NYU is better because of network, standing and strength in corporate law, but in case of IP llm, GW would definitely be better. IP practice is very attractive in the US specially in the west coast, perhaps the reason why UC-B and stanford makes up the top 2 best IP llm program. Studying in 3rd best is not bad at all. Besides with full scholarship, it definitely adds value to your resume than a mere LLM graduate in top schools. Goodluck.
