Dear All,

I submitted an application to

Columbia
NYU
Harvard
Berkeley
Yale
Stanford

but my applications were rejected by all the above universities :-)

I would really like to pursue an LLM in the fall 2008 because I'd like to have a working experience in USA (one or two years) in a law firm or in a big company.

I am an Italian lawyer, 34 years old. I would like to pursue an LLM, try to get admitted to the NY bar and then try to have the above working experience.

In light of the above, I was thinking about submitting an application to Cardozo. Their deadline will expire on June.

I am worried about Cardozo being at the 55th place in the US Ranking.

What do you think about the above and what do you suggest me to achieve my goal?

Many thank!

friend :
you have better chances for Cardozoz
To my understanding, University of America,Tulane University and Washington Universit in Saint Loise all have their deadline on May 15 or May 1st.
Why donot you try these schools for your last grasp?
these ranking are not bed at all too.
Besides , Indiana Bloomington is welcome application by any time as they said on their website, but they do recommand by Mar.1st.
But you may still try to apply.
Cood luck to you.

Botolo86, don't be discouraged by the rejections. Investigate the recommendations of the other posters and get busy on those applications!

You still have time to apply for fall admission if you get started right now.

Hi botolo
Why don't you try American University? My cuz goes there and their LLM program is ranked top 5 in int'l law. I applied already but their deadline is May 1 and is rolling, so I think a late app could still be fair game. Even though it's in intl law you can still be eligible for the NY bar I'm pretty s ure.

Good luck! I know it's stressful.... :)
