Any thoughts on which school is preferred for LL.M. I have received acceptance to both and am on waiting for Duke and Columbia. I live in SFO close to Hastings, so the decision is very difficult.

Your comments are welcome.

Hey. I got admission Hastings as well. I heard the LLM class is very small which is excellent and the range of courses are huge!!!

I am tempted to accept their offer. It is a good school with a great reputation in the bay area!!!

As a fresh Hastings LLM alumni (class 2008) I have to warn you. The school is good one, but after all, the LLM there was more or less a nice joke, if your reason is to have a job right after graduation. Hastings is well known in the bay area, but that's it.
If you get admitted to Columbia or UCLA, do not hesitate to go for it. It will definetly enhance your chances to find a (better) job after the LLM.
Good luck
