Washington & Lee Announces German LL.M. Scholarship
Tue Apr 01, 2008 09:45 PM Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, USA, announces the establishment of a scholarship for one qualified German LL.M. student.
The research assistantship will require the student to work closely with W&L law professor Russell Miller in three distinct capacities. First, the selected student will serve as assistant editor of the German Law Journal. The student will assist with all facets of the monthly production of the successful, online transnational law journal, co-founded by Professor Miller. Second, the student will serve as a teaching assistant in the German Law Journal Seminar. Regular U.S. students enroll in the seminar hoping to serve as student editors for the journal. The seminar exposes them to the areas of doctrine and theory regularly covered by the journal and trains them in the technical and editorial production of the journal. As teaching assistant, the student will lead one or two sessions of the seminar. Third, the student will be responsible for assisting Professor Miller with research on other comparative law related projects. |
